Program Director, Associate Professor

Dr. Tanya Gladney is the EDMG program director and Associate Professor in the Department of Justice and Society Studies. As a sociologist, she is committed to critically examining institutions to promote equitable service for all communities. Dr. Gladney has more than a decade of experience partnering with law enforcement agencies and organizations to strengthen intercultural competence and institutional effectiveness.

David McCabe

David McCabe, MPS, CSSP

David McCabe serves as Police Commander for the Saint Paul Police Department. He is a senior public safety leader, educator and emergency management professional with more than 25 years of experience spanning law enforcement leadership, disaster and incident management, large-scale event safety and nonprofit
governance.

Obasesam Okoi

Dr. Obasesam Okoi

Associate Professor

Dr. Obasesam Okoi is Associate Professor in the Department of Justice and Society Studies. Dr. Okoi brings more than a decade of experience researching, teaching and advising on the governance of climate induced disasters and hazard mitigation. Drawing on expertise in civil engineering, development studies, public policy and peace and conflict scholarship, he provides a pragmatic and interdisciplinary understanding of how climate change affects societies unevenly, reshapes risk, and influences institutional and community responses.

Mark Price is Distinguished Service Professor and AI Faculty Lead at the Opus College of Business. After more than two decades building analytics capabilities for Fortune 500 companies, high‑growth start‑ups and nonprofits, he now designs and teaches graduate, undergraduate and executive courses that help leaders turn data into competitive advantage.

Kristi Rollwagen

Kristi Rollwagen

Adjunct Faculty

Kristi Rollwagen is a seasoned emergency management professional with 29 years of experience in fire service and emergency management at the state, city and local levels. She currently works as Senior Advisor with EM Partners. Ms. Rollwagen is highly skilled in prevention, preparedness, response, recovery and mitigation planning, as well as training and exercising. She has national-level experience deploying to natural, man-made and technological disasters as part of an Incident Management Team.

Courtney Wetternach

Courtney Wetternach, MPH

Adjunct Faculty

Courtney Wetternach is the Manager of the Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) for the Health Emergency Response Office (HERO) and an instructor in the School of Public Health at the University of Minnesota. Trained as a health educator and epidemiologist, she has 20+ years of experience and expertise in public health preparedness activities.
