Angela High-Pippert is Professor of Political Science and Associated Faculty in Women’s Studies at the University of St. Thomas. She is also the coordinator of the Classroom Consulting Program within Faculty Development at UST.

Dr. High-Pippert teaches courses in American politics, women and politics, and public policy, and received the UST Distinguished Educator Award in 2012 and 2005.

Her research interests include citizen participation in community energy initiatives and women and politics, with publications in Energy Policy, Sustainability, Carbon Management, Bulletin of Science, Technology and Society, and Women and Politics. Dr. High-Pippert directed the UST Women’s Studies Program for six years and co-chaired the ACTC Women’s Studies Program Committee for two years. She is also past president of the Minnesota Political Science Association. Professor High-Pippert joined UST in 1999.
