Anne (Anita) Attea is a bilingual, bicultural Pastoral Associate at Church of the Ascension, a culturally diverse community on the north side of Minneapolis. Her primary responsibilities include coordinating faith formation, leadership development and social justice. Prior to her employment there, Anne served for 10 years as Director for Latino Ministry for the Archdiocese of St. Paul & Minneapolis. She has her bachelor’s degree in Theology from the University of Notre Dame and her Masters in Divinity from Loyola University-Chicago. Anne has a great passion for learning with and from the people with whom she lives and ministers. She is a missioner at heart, having lived and worked with the people of Chile, Mexico & Guatemala, and now resides in St. Paul, MN with her daughter, Isabela.
Anita Attea es una ministra pastoral bilingüe, bicultural en la Iglesia de la Ascensión, una comunidad de mucha diversidad cultural ubicada en el norte de Minneapolis. Sus responsabilidades principales son la coordinación de formación en la fe, el desarrollo de liderazgo y los esfuerzos relacionados con la justicia social. Antes de llegar a la parroquia, Anita sirvió por diez años como Directora del Ministerio Latino de la Arquidiócesis de San Pablo y Minneapolis. Tiene su bachillerato en teología de la Universidad de Notre Dame y su maestría en Divinidad de la Universidad de Loyola-Chicago. Anita tiene una gran pasión por aprender con y de la gente con quien vive y sirve. Ella tiene un espíritu misionero y ha vivido en Chile, México y Guatemala. Ahora reside en San Pablo, MN, con su hija, Isabela.
