At. St. Thomas, Dr. Armada has been recognized for his teaching and service with the Distinguished Educator Award and the Excellence in Advising Award. Nationally, his scholarship has been recognized with the Gerald R. Miller Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation Award and the Outstanding Book Chapter Award from the National Communication Association.
