  • Research Interests
  • Why do we teach Physics the way we do? This is a question that gets asked often and is rarely answered. My research focuses on faculty expectations of teaching and learning in post-secondary (college level) Physics courses. If you take one of my classes, my methods may be different than others. My research feeds my classroom activities and expectations. I am part of the Physics Education Research and Development (PERD) community and love sharing my research with others.

I have also worked with high temperature organic superconductors and binary star systems.
