Assistant Professor

Eichmeier teaches courses in strategic communication and science communication. She is an advisor for the university student media, The Crest, and she has also served as advisor for the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA). She also advises undergraduate research students who have interest in strategic or science communication. 

Her popular course, "Science, Media and Social Impact," teaches students about social impacts of science along the media's role in shaping public perceptions of science and technology.


Eichmeier's research is focused on communicating science with audiences who have low engagement or interest with emerging, controversial science and technology.
