Past Events
The first Ready to Run Minnesota training — scheduled for May 5, 2020 — was canceled due to COVID. We participated in virtual trainings through the Ready to Run/Center for American Women and Politics at Rutgers University.
In 2021-2022, Ready to Run Minnesota led our own series of five monthly virtual trainings, focusing on engaging with the media, fundraising, and running as a Black woman or a young woman. Events included:

In 2023-2024, Ready to Run Minnesota focused on community building within the University of St. Thomas community, with a dinner and presentation by St. Paul City Council member Rebecca Noecker and a tour of the Minnesota State Capitol.
